Goal: Create grammatical forms you need for clauses
Note: Look closely at any adposition phrases, verb expressions, and nominal functions.
Tip: You may extend the uses/functions of structures you already have.
Work focus: Create/Make/List
Go through the text again, focusing this time on the grammar and looking for any grammatical forms you need to create. As you work, pay close attention to adposition phrases, verb expressions, and nominal functions.
The goal is to fill out any features of the grammar you need to support the translation. You may need to work on a new construction to say a particular phrase, create a new inflection to handle a particular nominal function, or add to your inventory of grammatical words, such as creating a new adposition. Or you may find ways to extend the uses/meanings of adpositions or inflections to cover the context you need in the translation.
